sideways rehearsal one
Today we started rehearsing. We all played so hard after the table read, that despite the call being noon- it was hard to get up for. Never again, but, it is good to celebrate when celebration is called for and I know the cast and producers needed to let off some steam. Casting was stressful and then Jonny C’s dad passed so suddenly…I think we all just felt so grateful to finally get...

Amelia's Sweet 16th Madonna Inn Sleepover Party
I am getting older! Yup it is my sweet 16! Yeah! Come to Party!
I am OBSESSED with the Madonna Inn. The explosively kitschy-glam ballroom, the sheer elegance of drinking martinis in chairs older then your mom, the *ecstasy* of weeping into a pink shag carpet on your 30th, ahem 16th, Birthday- IRRESISTIBLE!
Dinner is at 8pm, but come when you can or want. Do stay too late for the after party...

Arthur Miller Reorbits in Social Media Theater
As many of you know, I will be directing Arthur Miller’s Memory of Two Mondays this spring at The Ruskin Group Theatre. As a sort of twist on the traditional director’s prep, I will be twittering as Mr Miller for a social media theater group called Reorbit.
Reorbit is a cutting-edge project that merges historical figures and modern technology to create a new set of online...

People in the crowd seemed to be, well, enjoying themselves more than I was used to. This was odd- because- why won’t you enjoy something you have chosen to attend. Then I realized, in a town of performers there is nobody to play audience.
Now...
